aesthetics as a way of survival

My first published editorial 'aesthetics as a way of survival ' is now out in the debut issue of Brace magazine.

Was so much fun to work on this shoot with such an amazing team - the magazine looks fantastic and if you haven't already, make sure you get your hands on a copy! There are also two very lovely editorial stories by my friends Hannah and Rachel that you have to check out. Thanks for having me Brace!

unique

The latest lookbook from Topshop Unique Pre Fall 13 is providing some much needed inspiration for me as we head into winter. I love the idea of investing in a longer dress and a jumpsuit for evening which pairs perfectly with a classic black jacket. Also, a great reminder that I need to get my hair trimmed!

trans-seasonal dressing with net-a-porter

My latest Vogue Spy Style post was a very fun (and tempting) collaborative effort with Net-A-Porter. I got to pick a few favourite pieces that were promptly shipped over from their new Hong Kong distribution centre, play Clueless-style dress ups with labels including Stella McCartney, Chloe and Valentino then style some finished looks for Vogue Australia online.
This was definitely one of those 'I love my job' moments! You can head over to Vogue to see the rest of the story and shop my trans-seasonal edit. Hope you enjoy! x

classic

For the past few months I've been more focused on cleansing my closet rather than adding to it. I find myself heading for the same few items over and over again, the perfect tan coat by APC, a simple sweater and a pair of skinny, cropped jeans. One of the few things I'm wanting right now (aside from some art & design books and decorative pieces for the home) is a pair of perfect cotton pyjamas- classic, French and simple. I loved Alexandra's interview with the designer of sleepwear label Poplin, Lucy Archibald. Her pyjamas are exactly what I've been looking for! You can also now shop an edited selection of Poplin on one of my new favourite Australian online stores, Girl & Graaf.

1. A.P.C trench coat, 2. Serge Gainsbourg & Jane Birkin, 3. Poplin Gatsby pyjamas, 4. Hope button back sweater
