to consider

Winter may be nearing an end, but I'm still finding myself making wishlists from the latest international arrivals. That Phillip Lim coat (which is sold out everywhere!) and a stunning Balenciaga coat (keep dreaming) have been inspiring my current winter looks. I just picked up an oversized duster coat from Topshop and a Zara skort to see me through to spring but there are still a few little things...

1. Ryan Storer ear cuff, so simple and so beautiful.
2. Gold hair barette
3. Knitwear (Whistles and La Garçonne are a favourite)
4. A new print, because if Dries Van Noten has taught me anything, it's that one beauifully
printed garment can update your entire closet.

p.s. Speaking of closet updates, Our Closet Sale is now back up and running.
Hannah and I will be adding more items over the next few days!

for the weekend

Apologies for my absence these last two weeks. After celebrating Ro's birthday we've been mostly in packing mode (we're moving again) and I'm also getting ready to start a new job (more on this soon!). Winter weather has also well and truly set in and its been all about comfort dressing and trying to stay out of the rain.

Highlights of this week have included a lovely breakfast at Yellow House Pop Up, and an amazing progressive dining experience with Lime and Tonic, my new Glassons knit, homewares shopping at Country Road and West Elm and the season finale of Mad Men.

1. At a friends baby shower, 2. Flowers at The Winery Markets
3. Wearing Glassons knit, Elliatt skirt, Chloe boots
4. Dessert at Longrain with Lime and Tonic, 5. Homemade coconut granola

don't ever leave

- Joan Didion, The Paris Review, 1978

Light streaming in through the windows, starting the day with a beautiful breakfast, fresh flowers, the smell of old paperback books, the excitement of turning the pages of a new magazine and of discovering a new label.

These were a few of the highlights from last week - the new Rika magazine arrived, I welcomed a surprisingly warm first week of winter and the start of anemone season, more Joan Didion (always) and a beautiful package from New York-based designer Gillian Tennant.

Gillian's clothes are exactly what I have been looking for, well made and stunningly simple pieces designed using only natural fibers that work perfectly into my wardrobe. I was so happy that the sun stayed out all long weekend and I was able to give them a first outing. Over the next few months there will be lots of layering and dreaming of spring!

1 - 3. Gillian Tennant shell blouse and gathered skirt, Uniform Wares watch, Petite Grand necklace, See by Chloe wedges

4 - 5. Gillian Tennant shift dress, Uniform Wares watch, See by Chloe wedges

Thankyou Gillian! x

i love mr mittens

It's always a pleasure to work on a project with Hannah and Rachel. Our latest collaboration involves photographing, designing, illustrating and wording the I Love Mr Mittens campaign, one of my favourite jobs to date! I feel so lucky to get to work with such an amazing team and a beautiful label like Mittens, my Popeye beanie (with a pom pom!) has been keeping me warm in the cold Winter mornings for the past week. Add a warm cup of tea and a cosy blanket and you have the recipe for a perfect weekend.
