the campus

I love this editorial 'The Campus' from Kinki online magazine. I wore my topshop loafers for the first time today, can't wait to wear them in summer with nude ribbed socks and shorts!

friends like these

Socks, spectacles, cherry blossoms! Nothing excites me like a pretty new book.

Ro and I would like to say a big thankyou to Frankie magazine for sending us their lovely photo album. A perfect combination of all the things I love, beautiful photography, flowers, interiors, vintage collectables and creative collaboration. Here is a little sneak peak inside...

things don't get better than this

Birthday breakfast at Bills for Rohan's 27th, the new issue of Frankie magazine, watching Grace Kelly films and making summer wishlists with Sarah.

holidays

I like spending my free time reading old magazines, making cups of tea, watching 90's movies, arranging my paperback collection in alphabetical order, observing and day dreaming.

imperial bedrooms

"They have made a movie about us."

It's 25 years later in the lives of characters from Bret Easton Ellis' first novel, Less Than Zero. I'm pretty excited that he has finally released a new book, given that the last big Bret Easton Ellis moment was the unfortunate movie version of the informers.

I think these holidays I will re-read Less Than Zero (it's been a while) before trying out Imperial Bedrooms. So far I love the opening line and just hearing the names Clay and Rip again makes we want to go back and read all his novels (sans American Psycho.) I think it might be time to hire the Less Than Zero film again, although they did change the story a little I do love a young James Spader.

p.s. I don't like the new book cover so instead this is my favourite available version of Less Than Zero
