I took this photo on our trip to Brisbane earlier this year for the Asia Pacific Triennial at GOMA. Our friends Gail and Atlas are lucky to live right around the corner from this guy. I wish I had taken a photo with me in it too...

There is nothing quite like pencil on paper. This is my last week of tafe for the term, meaning lots of drawing, tea drinking and reading over the next two weeks. And did I mention i'm going to Melbourne!? I'm pretty excited for a weekend away and really looking forward to the Tim Burton exhibition.

Looking forward to seeing more from the shows and waiting for the weather to get just a little warmer. I just want to wear ankle socks!
