  1. the marriage plot is the best!! next stop - middlesex :) And oh they had a klimt retrospective on at the belvedere when I was in Vienna and it was just incredible, works by Gustav, his brothers Ernst and Georg as well as his protege (of sorts) Egon Schiele. They even had the original receipt for the Kiss!!

  3. Rena, how is Sharp Objects? Might have to read that too!

    Han, I love the Marriage Plot! I read Middlesex when it came out, it's good but it's quite different to the other two. The way I felt about Marriage Plot in my early twenties is the same way I felt about The Virgin Suicides as a teenager if that makes sense.

  4. that makes so much sense... i remember mum bought it for me and was like - even though your name is hannah you're nothing like hannah, but then at the same time you are quite like hannah... and after reading it I kind of got what she was saying (none of hannah's bad, annoying selfishness, mostly just the way she feels about university and books haha) x
